BMW - Top Gun manufacture an extensive range of ignition lead sets suitable for European vehicles. Sets for BMW's are assembled with cable which utilises spiralled stainless steel core and high temperature silicone insulation. They are designed to closely match the original style assembly, utilising original style boots or close alternatives where applicable.

Spiral wire cable-has a low resistance, very tough stainless steel conductor. It is designed to behave and look like the original style cables used on European cars.

CABLE & BOOT TYPE

Sets come with special distributor terminals, designed to fit into BMW pin style and/or standard socket distributors. Spark plug nuts are supplied with the kit to ensure positive lock onto the plug.
The distributor terminal used on this kit has three dimples which are designed to fit over original style distributor cap pins as well as into standard socket style distributor fittings as found on some replacement caps.

When installing the distributor connection, the terminals need to be pushed firmly into the cap to ensure positive connection.
Listen for the terminal to ‘click’ into position to ensure that positive connection has been made.

The terminal & lead can be easily pulled out of the distributor boot if they need to be fed through the original style ducting on the engine.
